EDA PACT Event, Spot-It™ & 6ABC

Our long-term client EDA Contractors goes to great lengths to care for their employees. In fact, they were the primary reason we decided to teach Dr. Low's proven, practical 4-Step Method to workplace professionals.  

On October 12, 2023, EDA hosted its second annual Personal Accountability Changes Today (PACT) event which addresses substance abuse within the construction industry and provided resources to workers.

Newschannel 6ABC was there to showcase the PACT festival which featured contests, giveaways, food trucks, and opportunities to hear stories of how colleagues and community members overcame addiction.  Spot-It™ was there to support EDA in its mission to reduce the need to for workers to want to use and instead find a way handle their feelings in a more productive manner.    

EDA's PACT Festival was open to all workers regardless of prior substance abuse history, which over 175 individuals attended including workers from carpentry, roofing, and masonry trades. It also featured presenters from Recovering Centers of America, Narcotics Anonymous, National Alliance of Mental Health, Carpenters Unions, and Masonry Union. The PACT Festival was a fun and safe way to address the issues plaguing the community, while encouraging safe and competent job performance.
